Woodridge is a suburb in the Logan City shire. The shire borders Brisbane and the Gold Coast north and south respectively. It also borders a number of other shires, for example, Beaudesert and the Redlands.

We have several wonderful facilities near our school, which we and the community have access too, these are:

The Logan Entertainment Centre

The Logan Entertainment Centre is conveniently located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, in the heart of south-east Queensland. It is a facility offering state-of-the-art event technology, a professionally equipped kitchen, a multipurpose auditorium, a computerised ticketing system, intimate meeting/breakout rooms and outdoor areas. The Logan Entertainment Centre is located at 170 Wembley Rd, Logan Central.

Logan Art Gallery

Logan Art Gallery is located on the corner of Wembley Road and Jacaranda Avenue, Logan Central.

Kingston Butter Factory

The Kingston Butter Factory Community Arts Centre is located on Milky Way, Kingston.

Dairying was one of the major industries in this area around the turn of the century. The original Butter Factory was a timber structure built in 1907; it was reclad in brick and modernised in 1932. By this time, the factory was producing 40 - 50 tons of butter per week.

The dairy company Peters took over in 1958 and diversified the factory into producing milk, cottage and baker's cheese, but production ceased in 1983. The building was then acquired by Logan City Council and converted to a community centre as a Bicentennial project in 1988.

The refurbished building now houses the Butterbox Theatre, a community arts centre, canteen and a museum. The Museum is open 10am to 4.30pm seven days.

Logan Central Library

Logan City Council Libraries have a vast range of resources and services to assist the public to further their knowledge and education. Staff at the libraries are more than happy to help customers find what they are looking for, whether it be information for assignments and projects, interest or hobbies, or general education and training. Logan Central Library is located at Logan City Council, Adminstration Centre, 150 Wembley Rd, Logan Central.
